LAMBA is looking for a crowd of volunteers to help clear a new corridor for singletrack alongside the Sac & Fox...

When: 9am 'til high noonish, Sunday March 15th 2015

Where: Cedar River section of the Sac & Fox trail corridor - https://goo.gl/maps/LHS5k


Wear: boots, gloves, hat, shades, etc. clothes / gear that make sense for walking around in the woods, cutting and tossing sticks!

Bring: something to drink / snack, loppers, handsaws; LAMBA will provide some tools for those who don't have their own...

Good turn out lead to about 1/3 cleared, another strong day or two would ready the corridor to the trail build...

another work day coming up this weekend


Sac & Fox Corridor Clearing Saturday and or Sunday, April 2 and or 3, deets...
Park in the gravel lot just past the train tracks at the end of Fir Ave. The volunteer work will take place in the woods and grasslands adjacent to the Sac & Fox trail corridor... we will be clearing trail corridor with hand tools, expect to walk distances up to 3 or 4 miles.

-Event will take place rain or shine, lightening will result in delay / cancellation - decision made on site.
-Routine outdoor risks (trips, falls, scrapes, cuts, bruises, burns, poison plant exposure, biting insect / critters, etc.)
-Routine outdoor precautions (sunscreen, bug spray, proper attire / footwear, someone knows your location)
-Supervision of minors mandatory.
