foundations clean up scheduled

Postby Rob » Tue Oct 27, 2009 12:38 pm

Please join us on Saturday November 14, 1 PM to get the trash out of the old foundations area (end of the farm lane).

There is fencing and fence posts to pull as well as lots of junk.

Thanks, hope to see you there.

Bump for this weekend's work day!

Any special tools still needed other than muscles and gloves?

Also, ride back there and work? Or is there a better place to park?

Probably shorter to park at King Dr entrance and walk in.

We should empty the trailer of everything except the tools we need back there so we can use the trailer to pull all the trash out of the area.

Either that, or pile everything up in one big pile on the gravel road. That way I can get in there with a trailer later in the week and pull the shyte out. Sorry I can't be there this weekend.

I have already asked the Parks Dept to drive back to the foundation area and pick up a trash pile. I said we'd bag what we could. Hope to see you Saturday

that pile of trash is still sitting out there. I can bring the jeep if a trailer can be found to haul it out

I have a 4 X 8 utility trailer that might work if we put an old tarp under the debris to keep it from falling out the sides. Let me know if you want to use it. I can find a time to bring it out and help.
