500 bricks

Maybe these could be used for making an interesting feature or armoring a trail...

I replaced the Dakota with a more serviceable half ton. I'll go grab a load if we have a place to store them and someone wants to help me load.

I'd be willing to help load, PM me when you know if/when you'll be picking them up.

By serviceable you mean, "with reverse and air conditioning", right?

Heh heh More like "ugly, but paid for". I think my new truck is officially the ugliest thing to ever grace the parkinglot at Beverly. Times are tough brotha. No sense making payments on a toy I can't afford to take proper care of.

It's not ugly, it's functionally elegant!

Is that a white painted 2x6 in front of the radiator behind the missing grill?

Not quite that Beverly Hillbillies. It's aluminum. I don't have the foggiest where or why it came from, I'll address it when the ambient temp is a little more hospitable. It has a slant 6 and a Torqueflite, so it's only slightly more complex than my lawnmower. Cheap, easy, and durable. And I don't care about the paint. Excellent worktruck.

If I was your neighbor, I'd light that thing on fire while you slept.

Just kidding. A truck is a truck.

Yeah, it's nice being able to throw something heavier than my bike in the bed of my truck. The Dakota was designed for handling, not hauling. I miss the response from the go pedal, but change was needed, on more levels than one.

Instead of a beater bike, you have a beater truck! I never understood the point of having a shiny work truck, it's supposed to get dirty and dinged up.

Heh heh Got the beater bike thing goin on too, but I happen to dig riding it. Just need to address disc tabs and I'll go back to spending most of my time on my beater bike. :D
