garlic mustard rally Sunday

Postby Rob » Thu Apr 29, 2010 9:05 pm

This Sunday May 2 from 1pm to 3 PM lets get as many people as possible to pull the garlic mustard in Beverly. Some folks can man weed wackers or brush cutters for the really bad sections.

Beverly has a very bad infestation and if we don't keep after it - it will kill off every native plant in the park, including the trees.
Thanks,
Rob J.

there was a good size patch of nothing but GM in the creek along trail 12 next to the troll bridge. I would have knocked it out but I am still not over the PI. Thanks for doing the hard work guys!

I'll plan on bringing my weed-eater with the brush attachment for any large patches. Let me know if I can bring any other tools, mower, or whatever. Let's get at'er!

An apparent bout of food poisoning may hinder my plans to get out there today. My wife's been locked in the bathroom for hours now. Ewwww.

The sweet sounds of 2-stoke motors! Thanks to everyone who came out Sunday to help with the GM. I could hear 2-stroke motors blazin GM all around me yesterday.
