Awesome event! I've raced it, volunteer for it and just plain watched it...
Never disappointed

There is no specific Singlespeed class in IMBCS this year and we followed suit. Bummer. Typically SS would do the Comp distance, but you can race any category on your SS and lay a beatdown.

Stoked for the Scramble? We are! Have had a couple of questions about the race that are worth clarifying, hope this helps:

1. The Juniors race will only consist of the Prologue lap (south side plus 105 to shelter); they will not race the north side trails with the Cat 3 racers. This is approximately 5.5 miles.
2. Yes, the categories that are riding 104 will also ride 104X.
3. Yes, all categories will cross the gravel road and ride 105 back to the shelter at the end of the Prologue lap.
4. Yes, the course is kinda tough, but not terribly so.
5. Yes, you'll be glad you did it.

Any other questions? Give a holla!

Thank you everyone who came out for some Sugar Sweetness at the 2013 Scramble! It was a banner day, and it wouldn't have happened without the support of all of our awesome sponsors - too many to list here (but you can find them on they race flyer) - Thank You. And huge props to our ICORR and Goosetown Racing Club Volunteers for pulling it all off. Let's do it again next year!

If you'd like to see a photo of yourself blistering up cyclocross hill and such at the scramble, check out photos by Justin Torner. He does a nice job.
