For the most part, yes. Still confirming some details, but it promises to be a nice tour of the trails.
The August TT will provide a taste.

I was wondering how much it would favor big ringers over more technically advanced (fat a$$es like me) riders. In other words, black trails? Some black trails? All black trails? Cyclocross but force them up the left? I think it would be cool to ride hell trail and rubber bullet snipers or water balloon guns for anyone who dabs.
If you're gonna be dumb, you better be tough.

Here is a synopsis. The trails in order of starting are 201, 202, 205, 301, 304, 105, 101, 102, 104. There will be black trails, 304 and 104, also less gravel than previous years which will help our our single speeders. Beginner will be a little different and should be ride-able by all abilities. We shortened the laps so some of the rooty twisty climbs are gone but 205 is still there. Rage can correct me but look for finish times in the range of... Expert: 2:00 - 2:10, Comp: 1:40 - 1:45, Sport: 1:00 - 1:10, Beginner: 0:40 - 0:50. Total time on the course should be less than recent years, no more 3hr finish times. Same start as before, up the hill.......best way to thin the herd we think.

Weather Prediction:

... well, who knows. Right now it looks like a good chance of rain starting after midnight tonight, finishing up around 8am tomorrow. We feel the trails can probably handle up to a half inch of rain and still be able to have a good race. We'll post early in the morning what the status is - we'll either start as planned, delay a couple of hours, postpone to a later date, or cancel altogether. We do not have a rain date planned at this time.

Sport on up have 104 (Rockslide), 304 (Troll Bridge), and CX hill in the loop. Novice has a shortened version of 304 (no technical portion), and does not use 104 or CX hill. Otherwise it's a nice green and blue tour of the north and south sides, with less gravel mileage than in the last few years.

Sugar Bottom Scramble - Sunday, August 26, 2012

This rain this morning has just picked up to the point that we have to pull the plug. Super bummer. We'll try to come up with a reschedule date in the next few days.
