2010 Marzocchi 44 Micro Ti 29er fork (new)

Postby jnecessary » Tue May 08, 2012 2:21 pm

I am looking to sell a fresh in box Marz 44 Micro Ti 29er fork, it is black with nickel stanchions, tapered steer tube (uncut) and 15mm through axle.

2012 version specs below, I think they are pretty much the same.

The fork is supposed to be super plush and can be adjusted to 100mm, 120mm or 140mm. Mine was set up at the Marzocchi to 120mm by Ronnie Dilan. Here are pics of him doing the set-up on the fork. http://i.imgur.com/mPM6u.jpg, http://i.imgur.com/wJiHH.jpg

I was going to put this on my Anthem 29er for a trip to Moab this fall, but decided I want a chainsaw more than an extra inch of travel :)

I paid $400 to have it set up and mailed to me, also a sheet of stickers in the box if that matters. I want to get that back, or close to it. Let me know if interested.

Wonder if this will work on my Niner One9 single-speed? I might be interested, as I've been looking for a new front suspension fork to put on it.

If it has a tapered head tube it should be just fine. I can bring it out to a ride sometime if you want to see it, or if you come down to Sugar I could meet ya.

Some reviews from MTBR here:

One bad review from a guy that said he was getting 10mm of travel less than expected. Like I posted mine is still in the box it was mailed in set to 120mm but can be shorter or taller depending on what you want.

"Niner suggests a fork in the range of 80 to 100mm to retain the One 9’s geometry and trail manners" You would have to add the other spacer to get it to 100mm, or just try it at 120.

I wouldn't go higher than 100m on the niner and even that will feel slack and slow going into turns like you're used to but something you surely could get used to.
If you're gonna be dumb, you better be tough.

I'm not sure if the 2007 model has a tapered head tube. I'll have to double check that. Regardless, PM me what you have to have for the fork, or message me on the book of faces. I should probably get you my cell number at some point too.

Well I'm no expert, but it doesn't look like the 2007 Niner One9 has a tapered headtube. Now, since I'm no expert, if someone else is and can tell me different, I'll take that fork off your hands.
