Next official Squaw Creek workday April 15th

Okay folks. I test rode the new trail last night and my stoke meter is high. This is gonna be a fun trail.

Gonna pick up where we left off on Sunday. I'll have things a little more organized so we can hit the ground running when we get there. I also hope to have most of the chainsawing and brush cutting completed by then. List of tasks:

1. Mcleod crews establishing tread where flagged.
2. Cut in power line crossings.
3. Establish connections to existing trails (if we make it that far).

Based on the work we got done last weekend I think this will be doable with a good turnout.

April 15th. 9am. Squaw Creek Maintenance parking lot (we'll get closer if we can).

Lunch provided by LAMBA.

Please volunteer if you can.

P.S.: I know this is the same day as the Sylvan Island Stampede. I'm sorry and hate to do that, but this project must move forward as quickly as possible or users will make connections that shouldn't be there where we don't want them. I completely understand that there are those who plan on racing that day, and I fully encourage you to do so. Those FORC'ers are good folks and deserve our support.

I have plans in the morning, but was going to check in to see if it was worth showing up around 1 pm. Is it?

Workday is cancelled for tomorrow. Don't want to work in slop. Not good for us, not good for dirt.
