FYI Thomas is READY!!!!

Sorry, I have been too laid-up to get out and scout the trails at Thomas earlier, but I limped along last night and cleared anything that was in the way!

Trails are OPEN
As expected, they are soft and slow but NO standing water! If the weather puts a damper on riding this wkend then I am sure it will still be ready to ride b4 Beverly next wk.

I encourage anybody that can get out and take a few laps to do so. The more people that ride it right now while it is soft, the better. It is still an "un-matured" system an could use a LOT of traffic to pack it in nicely.

Again, sorry I didn't do this while the weather was nice.

I'm willing to bet Thomas will be good tomorrow.

Is this the trail on top of the hill in the middle of the Frisbee golf course? I've not hit that trail before, just the trail connecting Boyson Park to Hannah Park in Marion. I'll have to check it out.

urban you are correct.

directions: If you are standing at hole one, ride towards hole 20 (might be 18 now with the redesign?) on the crushed rock trail. when you start heading up the slight hill towards the tee box for #20 there is a single track trail that leads up the hill to your right.

Chris, Any luck on dealing with the city on the land towards the back of the park yet?

No luck as of yet. These things take time sometimes. I am still keeping my fingers crossed that he will find time in his schedule to meet w/ me soon.
