I'm not going to get too outrageous wth my comments, but there is a clear contractiction in the cities logic with this bridge.
They say they can repair it, but at the end of the day, it is still a 112 year old bridge. In other words, it's economically unwise to repair it.
Then they say they have no funds put aside to replace it, because "they did not foresee this happening".
How did they not foresee it being a 112 year old bridge?!?
I wish there was a clear way to help FORC and Moline out somehow. Other than raise 700k, or buy a crane on a barge....
