Nite Ride!

Nite Ride!

Postby iLuvTechnical » Sun Nov 02, 2008 6:24 pm

I will be using my dim headlight tomorrow Mon. Nov. 3rd to go riding  I will be there at 6:30. I can't believe I might be wearing shorts :o

There is a good chance I will do it all again Tue. 4th too b/c I can't go on Wed. or Thur. Plus, it might rain by then anyway.

Anyone feel like keeping me company?

Good times last night. We had one "wash-out" a corner and another endo. I think some folks were feeling bigger than life and pushed it a little.

I am heading out again tonight.
Anyone meeting me?

I was out there earlier in my shorts. I rode over from my house and got there about 4:15. There were about 6 cars parked and one tandem showed up. That was cool, they high centered on the first hill on the time trial. I'm sure they stayed away from the rollers. Was a great night for riding.

I think I'm going to try and take my bike and gear to work again tom. Mon. 10th.

Anyone want to meet me for a "need lights" ride?

I might try to show up. The forecast looks a bit cold, but the weather looks rainy for a few days. I got my grubby paws on a loaner TriNewt light that I'll try not to set the trees on fire with.

Somebody please tell me he did not just say that

Listen here, man and everyone else for that matter; there is no sure thing as too cold! There's only too much freezing rain or snow

I plan to show up around 5:30-6:00 Wednesday night for a ride.

iLuvTechical and I were the only ones who showed up on Monday last week before the rain moved in. It was a great ride and all you lamers who didn't show up missed a lot of fun. At least it was fun until the minor mishap at the railroad tie skinny (hope your bike is fixed).

Not really a wipeout. The bash ring and rear derailleur got slightly bent and the rear derailleur cable was broken when his tires went off the side. It was probably my head lamp flickering from behind/beside him that caused a distraction and messed him up. At least that was his excuse. He was able to ride back to the parking area with the chain rubbing.
